Our Creative Director, Michael Goldsmith, who is also an instructor of music at Mineral Area College needed a poster for their annual jazz festival. This is the third year we’ve designed the poster and it is always a challenging and fun project to take on. Being a jazz musician, it is always interesting to create something that embodies jazz and jazz improvisation. For this one, we started with bold, hand-painted text and let the rest of the layout be informed by this initial bold element.
